Gabrielle Baker & her Pony Gossip Girl participated in a Joe Fargis Clinic held at Canterbury Stables on September 27 & 28th. Joe Fargis of Middleburg, Va., is best known for winning the 1984 Olympic individual gold medal aboard Touch of Class, but the veteran jumper rider has spent the past five decades in the horse industry putting in the long hours needed to find and develop horses with talent.

The last Horse Show for the 2009 Classic Horse show series was held on September 20, at Heritage Stables. Smoke Tree Farm had a successful day. Congratulations to everyone who participated.

Smoke Tree Farm had a very successful 2009 Coliseum Classic Horse Show. The Coliseum Classic was held August 4-6 at the New York State Fairgrounds. Rob Bielefeld of Wellington Florida was the judge. The Coliseum Classic Horse Show is put on by the Classic Horse Show Series Committee which Smoke Tree Farm is a part of.
